David’s cafe is a great place to meet up with friends, relax over a coffee and a slice of cake, have lunch or take a break from browsing and shopping in our wonderful book and music shops. We serve a selection of teas and coffees, homemade cakes and bakes and light lunches prepared in our kitchen daily. There is a regular supply of your favourites and our menu changes to match the seasons and produce available. As an independent, we use locally sourced ingredients wherever possible and work with local business to supply our coffee, tea, bread and services.
Do you have something to celebrate of just need a treat? We serve afternoon tea in the Cafe; a delicious selection of freshly prepared sandwiches, home baked cakes and scones with clotted cream and a selection of jams. We can also provide private function catering in the cafe – just send us an email to enquire.
Well behaved dogs are always very welcome!
